Grandparents Day

My school celebrated its first Grandparent's Day in January.  

As you can see my Grandparents came but I didn't invite them:).  Gigi had been in and out of the hospital passing kidney stones and I didn't want to push her physically but ironically my boss called Holman Gardens and invited the place over.  My grandparents jumped at the chance!

Here's my boss Sue thanking everyone for coming and boy did a lot come!

Our gym was packed full!

Sue took a picture of Grams and I.  

Then the grandparents came back to my room for some "academic" fun.

We did our calendar routine and then I read Snowmen at Night and the grandparents helped draw a winter scene for their snowmen.  They had a lot of fun doing it together!

This last picture just cracked me up because my student is wearing his "grand friends" glasses.  

So funny!  

It was a wonderfully successful grandparents day and I hope it becomes an annual event at our school!

Mobius

On one of Hudson's field trips a few weeks ago they went to Mobius.  Hudson just loves Mobius!

He told me all about the sharp teeth of the dinosaur, how he was in the kitchen with some bread, and he rode his favorite car.  He loves his adventures with his friends!
