Gymnastics!!!
On a whim, I enrolled Hudson in a gymnastics class. He's always been super flexible and a friend posted that I should put him in gymnastics class. He has been definitely showing more coordination lately. The other day we were outside and he actually kicked the soccer ball! I know this doesn't seem like much but I was giddy with excitement! So I called the gym we've gone to a few times for an "open gym time" and classes started that week, matter of fact that day.
We joined a Tuesday class and off we went.
The first class was great! Coach Kelsie was wonderful with our 3-4 year olds. She gave them all bunny ears to encourage their hopping up and down the trampoline.
Hudson kind of does a side ways jump/hop/skip thing-a-ma-bob.
Coach Kelise was so creative and drew chalk eggs on the trampoline. Then she placed hoops on the trampoline so that the kids could do somersaults on them. Or as Hudson calls them "rolls".
Then they moved to the back of the gym where she had a circuit set up. Hudson is holding a shovel with an easter egg on it (I seriously love the themes!) and trying to walk on the balance beam. Then they roll down the wedge, hop offer the bars, climb up the stairs and slide down the rainbow.
She then moved to another rest of rotations. Hudson started on the bar where he's supposed to lift his knees up to hit the egg.
Then he threw the bunny threw the hoop (again, Easter theme and loving it) and roll down the mat. He needed Coach's help but he did do one all by himself!
Then walk not he balance beam (around/over the eggs) and climb up the ladder.
The last station was the jumping bar where they jump!
It was a fabulous 1st day! I'm so pleased with the coach and the small class, 4 kids including Hudson. One girl in the class has obviously done gymnastics before and Hudson has obviously not! He tends to be the kid seeking affirmation asking if he's doing it right and always contributing his 2 cents. Geez, he is so my kid. We are going to keep working on his "athleticism" through jumps, rolls and most of all his hops! This is a perfect intro to an organized sport with yet still individualistic. After all, Hudson does beat to his own drum, in a good way:). I'm excited to see his progress over the next 13 weeks!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like…SPRING!!!
On one of our nice, sunny days in March, when it wasn't snowing, we actually were able to play outside and enjoy some sunshine! Oh happy day!

Hannah @ 6 Months
Where has the time gone? Hannah is already 6 months and it felt so fast and soo long at the same time. Jared and I were just joking about how quickly it has gone and then we both looked at each other and said "But not really!" We love our Hannah so much. 6 months old means picture time! Yay! The photographer who did her 3 month pics, and some family ones, has a great package. It really is for newborns, crawling and 1st birthday but she adapted it for Miss Hannah since we started behind. I knew she was 6 months around St. Patrick's Day so I was giddy with excitement. Have I mentioned how much I love having a girl???!!!
So luckily Shutterfly sent me an email with a deal. You know how I love a good deal! It was 10 free cards so I sent out a St. Patrick's Day card for Hannah's 6 months.
Thank you Laura for the cute outfit! I just added Hudson's Mickey Mouse ears from his birthday last year:). As you can tell, she's teething a bit. Right after these pictures were taken, she had a very loose blow out…at home thankfully! She is gnawing on everything she can but mainly her fingers! I keep feeling in there but nothing so far. The best part is, she's still happy! I don't think we would enjoy her happiness as much if we wouldn't of had such a rough start. I count every happy giggle, laugher, squeal as a blessing!

Around month 5 I switched her to a different aside medicine which required solids in the morning. So she has been having lots of rice cereal, oatmeal combinations, prunes, carrots and so on. She does not like peas or vegetable melody combinations. Ugh. I think she has a sweet tooth like her mamma!
Yes, she threw it up. Actually she gagged herself to throwing up, oh my what am I to do with this girl?
She has started to squeal/scream with excitement often! She is so loud! Ok, she is totally my daughter! She squeals/screams when she is happy and playing with her brother or sad/mad. Wow, she is loud!
She still loves her bottle. She gets so happy and grunts and groans when she sees it. I love how Hudson helps feed her at times!
Hannah is full of smiles and giggles most of the time now. She naps pretty consistently from 8:30 to 9-11ish. If I have to wake her up early for a play date or a fun activity, she rubs her eyes and gives me grins from ear to ear. What a happy girl!
New developments:
We're working on sitting up. She can do it but she moves so much she falls over with her excitement of brother or reaching for toys.
Most days though, she's just all smiles! She's still not the best napper but I'll take what I can get and enjoy the day to day moments. I love this girl!
