Hope @ 1 Month

Hopey Lou is 1 Month old!
What?!  My last baby is 1 mont old?  How can this be?

The crying pictures make me laugh because Hope isn't a fussy baby. She's very easy going and laid back but she didn't like my photo op!

Sister wanted a picture with her:).

"Mom, I think Hope needs you."

Hope loves her hand!

Probably my favorite pose she sleeps in:).

She is content to just snuggle all day if we let her, which we have.
Sister wanted to help with her bath.

Reading to sis, or tiny foot as he calls her.

This is the cradle my dad and I were in along with  Hudson, Hannah and now Hope.

Meeting Miss Yvonne for the first time:).  Yvonne cut my grandma Louise's hair and mine growing up.  She was happy to meet little Hope named after Louise.

Hope's beautiful quilt made by my other mamma:).

Matt & Matina hosted a meet and greet for baby Hope.  It was so fun!
It was just some close friends and my extended Bolster family.  I felt so loved!  It really meant the world to me!  Aren't they the cutest holding that baby?!

This month has gone by so quickly yet it has been so long.  Hope is on 3 hour schedule and doing well with it.  She's so calm after feedings or when we wake her up.  She is nursing better and I'm starting to feel almost human again.  No major outings this month except for the BBQ at Matt and Matinas.  The kids have been content reading, playing with knex, legos or putting together puzzles.   Oh and not to forget lots of art for Hannah and a few shows.  I was so worried when Jared went back to work and my mom couldn't leave my dad.  It was hard with the nursing, pumping and bottle every 3 hours and I was tired but I persevered with God's help:).  Hudson and Hannah made the days easy.  I'm so lucky to have them in our family!  Hannah would often give me big hugs after I'd been doing my nursing routine and say "I missed you!"  What a delight she is.  Hannah has found her closet full of clothes (given to us by other friends) and tries them on one after the other.  It makes quite the mess!  Then she decided my closet was more fun, breaking hangers to pull down my dresses.  Jared was a bit upset but I was just happy she was busy!   Hudson enjoyed holding Hope whenever he could.  It was a slow, cooped up month due to all the illnesses in our household but it was relaxing.  I miss sleep and forgot how time consuming a newborn is.  I wouldn't have it any other way though!
We love you Hopey Lou!  Happy 1 Month!
