Hope 8 Months

Our baby is 8 months!
She loves to stand, walk with assistance and army crawl everywhere!  She thinks she's hot stuff!!!  She still was waking up twice at night but this month we did some boot camp and put her downstairs to sleep.  It took her 4 nights and she was back to sleeping through the night!  She loves all her baby foods and eats anything we give her.  She always wants to be where the action is and now crawls there if she's not in the center of the action!

Hope Louise loves her Pops!

We came in and she was standing in her crib!  YIKES! She loves pulling herself to a standing position whenever she can now.

A typical morning:).

Hope loves to run errands with me!

See those two bottom teeth?  So cute!

Hannah loves playing with Hope.  She put a crown on her and they played princesses:).

Hope had a runny nose for most of the her 8th month.
She's back on the mend now:).

She's become increasingly more mobile and has found the stairs!

She fell asleep sitting up.  She did this a few times this month.  Hudson used to do this:).

It's funny how toys change with baby #3.  Her toys are the kitchen toys;).

Stealing Hannah's Panda and binky:).

First time on the swing and she LOVED it!

Hope is Gigi's Little Bunny:).

Randomness the Past Few Months

A few highlights from January through March

Sickness-
Croup means steamy showers and watching the iPad.

Hannah loves to hold Hope's hand in the car:).  So SWEET!

Donut time with mom:).

Homework routines
This was a hard year for homework for us.  I feel like we do so much homework and with other commitments like Awana and karate we are maxed!  This poor guy comes home, does his math, spelling and reading every day and is lucky if he gets some down time.  WE've really tried to do no tech time during Sunday night-Thursday.  Fridays we have off and do our family movie night:).
Hudson works extremely hard but sometimes after a day a school he needs to just play:).

January means ski lessons!
Hudson loves watching Warren Miller in the van on the way to the mountain.

Skiing with my boy!

After Pop's motorcycle accident I didn't know if we'd ever get this picture...but we did!

Hudson took off right where he left off last year.  He was ready to go!
Pops on the other hand was a bit forgetful a few days: wallet, cell phone, ski apparel.  I got to buy him a new shirt since his only shirt was soaked on one of the rainy days we skied.  All those times of doing check lists and making sure I didn't forget anything...he ate his words that day:).

Ski school!

These 3 play so well together for the most part!

Hudson was promoted to an advanced orange belt.

I went out to one of my favorite restaurants Clinkerdaggers for a teacher date!  A bunch of my old UES teacher friends invited me out.  Clinks had this killer deal for teachers.  It was so fun to see my friends and have a Daneenie date!

We love our Lexie and her laughs!  She's so wonderful with our kids!

She even let Hudson come talk to the kids (hannah and addy) about birds.  Such a scholar!

Jared drew our family at Awana's parent night.  Notice Hope on the floor.

Hudson and Hannah love Nana and Pop's cat Cheryl.  Hannah likes to pretend she is Cheryl a lot. Pops loves it because he can sneak in hugs to Cheryl easier than Hannah:).

Jared and Gigi turned another year older:).
Jared is 35!

Hudson earned the "Wonder" award at school.  He loves to learn and wonder new thing especially in science when it comes to birds and now rocks.

Playing bird family with sister:).

Hudson sleeps longer than Hannah.
Hannah is our early riser and often comes in on our bed early in the mornings to play with Minnie:).

Hannah LOVES art, school and projects.  Doing letter stamps:).

Hannah's newest obsession is dobbers.  She LOVES coloring and now has an art table:).

My helpers!

After baths all the kids need to come see me and I give them the sniff test.  I love "sniffing" their clean bodies:).  Hannah loves to sing to songs on the ottoman, it's her stage.

Volcano time!

She could be Elsa everyday!

Jared saying "don't take a picture"

We have had multiple sicknesses....fevers taking over again.

Hudson waiting for the neighbor girls to finally pass out his valentine's candy:).

Crazy hair!

We've had Krispy Creme twice in March alone!
These kids never get donuts but we did 3 times this winter!

Ropes and tantrums

She loves reading with her reader

Hudson loves his new desk (thanks to Uncle Joe) even if it's still in the garage.

3 Generations on the ski hill

Whacking the snow off trees just like Pops!

Some days our life is just crazy!

This is a typical morning.
I came back from the gym, feeding Hope, Hudson wants to be near Hope and Hannah wants to be in on the action too.  Love these blessings!

Grocery Shopping!

Hudson really works hard at his reading:).   He prefers nonfiction books,

Follow up ENT visit after tubes/tonsils.
Yes he can hear although his teacher I think otherwise at times!

Then he got sick, again.  Croup again.

Hannah threw up a few days later.

Shopping for my nieces turned into a ramp!

Another fever!

Art fun at her table:).

Then Hannah and I went to the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday because Hudson still had a fever:(.

Hannah found the golden egg!

She earned a prize for finding it!

Checking out her loot!

Twins!

Easter was a bit different this year.  After the egg hunt, Hannah's fever came back.  We let her sleep in and Jared and Hudson played games waiting for her to wake up to do the egg hunt!

This is how she looked most of the day:(.

Hope was happy:).

Hudson eventually quarantined himself in his room, asking for meals in there so he wouldn't get "the sickness" as he would say.  He would barely open the door to let us say hi or deliver food!
It has been a long month!

After her SUPER high fever on Sunday we almost took her in.
Later that week we found out she had strep.
Then I developed a severe sinus infection.
What a month!
