Hannah's Room and Some Sibling Love

I don't think I've ever shown all of Hannah's room but here it is!
Nana made Hannah's (trying Nana and Hannah a bunch of times together, geez) quilt and bumper which are the inspiration for her room!

The quilt is on the chair.  I LOVE it so much!

The bow holder I made…with Jared's help!

Where's brother?

She just loves Batman:).

Birthday Fun Continued!

Originally I told Hudson we'd have a Jump N Bounce party way in the fall.  We used to head to Jump N Bounce weekly to get out of the house.  I knew we'd continue to have a small family party and then this year we'd have a kid party.  Well later on I found out we are going to LA again and I didn't want to do Jump N Bounce but little ears always remember what you say.  So we still had a small party with our closest friends.

Happy 4th Birthday sweet boy!  He sure loved the party!  He loved Jump N Bounce, playing at McDonalds, his presents, and the wonderful cupcakes Sarah made!   Best of all, he was with all his friends!  Thanks again guys for making Hudson's 4th birthday so special!

HaPpY 4th BiRtHdAy Hudson!!!

Birthday parties are a delight for me!  I love celebrating my children with family!

This year Hudson wanted a "Monster Truck" party.  I begged for a Cars theme, specifically Doc Hudson and Radiator Springs, but no.  He wanted motorcycles for a month or so but then it was back to Monster Trucks so we that's what we did!

Here is our table (that no one actually sat at, lol!)

The spread

Spare tire donuts, probably my favorite

Hudson really wanted chocolate milk so that was our "refueling" station

I ordered these tire tubes that actually are for the pool or in our case, the lake!  Hudson just loved them!

Present time!

Batman

Remote control monster truck, what he's been asking for!

Sandbox!
Daddy worked so hard getting this area ready for Hudson's new sandbox.  He did 4 loads of pea gravel and sand to get it looking just right.  Thank you daddy!  We sure will enjoy it this spring/summer!

But of course he goes to the unfinished area and plays with the dirt there.  Kids!
Great Grandpa was trying to scare Hudson as batman.  Hudson thought he was pretty funny:).

The best part was, he was upside down batman!

Hannah is a big girl and joined us eating puffs and strawberries

Upside down batman!

Then daddy joined in on the fun

Hudson told Grandma she couldn't come in the tent it was for boys.  So she proved him wrong, love it!

Go Grandma!

The men

Then it was time for the cake.  My dear friends Sarah and Nicole helped me make this cake.  It was so good and Hudson really wanted a Monster Truck cake.  I begged for cupcakes but he wanted the cake, so he got it!  He was so happy to see it.  I think his exact words were "So cool!"

Tucking Hudson into bed, I asked him what his favorite part of his birthday was and he said his cake:).

It was a wonderful party with family.  We're so blessed to have 2 sets of grandparents and great grandparents present.  I didn't get a group shot this year, bummer!  It was so nice to have Uncle Daryl, Aunt Tiff cousin Raylee join us this year.  We are so blessed with such a wonderful family.

Happy Birthday to the best 4 year old I know!  It's been the best 4 years of our lives Hudson Henry!  Thank you for blessing us with your joy, silliness, laughter daily.  We love you so much!
