Gigi Turns 80

Gigi turned 80 this February.  To celebrate, my mom and aunt invited friends and family to Holman Gardens where their main cafeteria room was decorated with adorable Valentine's decorations.  We arrived late due to Huddy's nap and most of the guests started to leave when we got there but he sure did enjoy the coffee table and his cars!

As you can see, Huddy is on the move ALWAYS!

So we were off to Gigi & Gpa's apartment

 Knock, knock Huddy is here

 Then he ran away but Papa corralled him.

Down in the elevator, Huddy's new favorite toy

He decided to help Gigi vacuum with her cane

But his cars are first in his heart!

 What Gigi?  I can't touch?

Hudson is very lucky to have two special great-grandparents!  Gigi you're the best grandma for stories and games.  I loved all the games and dates we had growing up.  I'm so glad Hudson gets to spend so much time with you.  Thanks for moving closer so we can celebrate these yearly events together as a family.  To 80 more blissful years:).

Almost 2 Developments

Hudson is at such a fun age!  I love this "toddlerhood".  We have so much fun playing, talking, running, moving, reading, you name it!  He is so much fun I just want to play with him all the time!  Some of my new favorite things he is doing are:

1.  Hudson's new love in life is Thomas.  I call it the Thomas love:).  I found a few board books with a sound board.  He loves reading them.  When he hears Thomas' whistle he gets so excited!

 2.  Hudson has been quite sick lately so another new obsession is kleenex.

 This turned into a toilet paper obsession.....

 3.  Another new development is getting onto mommy & daddy's bed

4.  Walking up and down the stairs, big deal!!!

We were so proud of ourselves, that he tried to climb the big stairs...

They're harder so back to the smaller stairs

5.  The main thing I've noticed is that my baby is now a little boy.  He loves playing with cars.  He will sit, lay, maneuver all over the kitchen floor to play with his cars.  SO precious and so boy!  He is now starting to make sounds with his car like "vroom" and truck sounds.  

 Daddy has a fun new game

 When the floor gets boring, he moves to mommy's laptop.

 Then, back to the floor:).

Computer Issues

So I've been without a computer for almost 3 weeks now.  I just got it back last night and have to return it for a 3rd time.  Its been frustrating b/c my web browser keeps freezing and I can't load pictures to my blog.  I apologize for the absence and hopefully I'll be back soon.  For a few sneak peaks of our trip you can look a Joe's blog.  We had a great time and I can't wait to tell you more.  Don't be fooled by Huddy's tears on Dumbo, he was just having a temperamental moment....We had a few of those this trip:).
