The Haak's & The Henry's

One of my favorite things about Christmas vacation is seeing all my friends who come into town.  At the top of the list is our friend's The Henry's.  Hudson and Silas were stoked to have some sledding, snow time together!

Silas enjoyed the snowflakes

Hudson pulled his sled:).

Then there were the newest additions to our families, Seth & Hannah.  Aren't they cute?!

The big brothers!

We always exchange gifts too!  Doesn't Silas look happy to open his present from us?:).

Laura got Hannah all these headbands, bows and hair accessories.  So we dressed the kids up:).

Then the boys got to work with their magnatiles.  Best gift ever!  Thank you Laura!

Look, they're holding…shirts:).

It was so good to see the Henry's!  I love our times together with our little ones!

An Arnhold Christmas Season in Pictures

After Hannah's first long road trip to Sunnyside, we headed back home.

We had a little holiday baking:).

Then it was time for some snow fun!

Then Uncle Joe came into town!  Hudson was so excited to see him and Joe was excited to meet Hannah!

I think on this particular afternoon, I was able to spend it shopping with my brother.  I learn more about his life in 2 hours of errands than the rest of the year (boys tend to not tell their sisters everything about their lives when they live so far away…I'm sure this is what will happen to Hudson and I…sigh).  It's become our tradition to do a little holiday shopping on a brother/sister date.  I love it and look forward to it yearly!

Then it was off to Christmas Eve Service!

We opened a few gifts afterward.  Hudson opened Uncle Joe's lunch box with race cars.  Needless to say, it was a big hit!

I prepared the evening for some stocking fun!

Hudson woke up Christmas day excited to take out baby Jesus!

Instead of getting excited about his presents and sleeping bag…he went to the cars in his lunchbox from Uncle Joe.

We had a relaxing morning in our home!  First Christmas morning in our home ever.  We really enjoyed it!  We had a lego project, put together a puzzle, and just played.

Daddy made us his special pancakes!  YUM!

Then we did a Christmas morning bath!

Then it was off to Gigi & Gpas for a Christmas day meal.  Afterwards we had a relaxing day at home as a family.  Uncle Joe wasn't feeling too well and Gig & Gpa needed a nap:).  I was hoping for a Home Alone and rummikub time but it didn't happen that way.  But that's life:).  We really spent a lot of quality time as an immediate family which was nice.

Skied with Pops on the 26th

The 27th we head our official family meal at Nana & Pops house.  Showing off our crocheted baskets from some Arizona friends:).

Aunt Kiki's first time meeting Hannah

Pops thought she was calm...

He sure enjoyed all his toys!

Gift exchange

Hudson was VERY upset because somehow he missed #8 being called.  Aunt Rosie saved the day by calling #8 and I gave him a cup of M&Ms, few!

Then it was scooter time in the Sunnyside Christian gym.

Yes the Haak clan is so big, we rent out a gym now:).  IT was SUPER fun!

One last visit with Grandpa in the barn
