You Are My Sunshine

That's right, our little Hannah is 1, well almost:).  I decided to plan her party before school starts so I could fully enjoy it.  I wanted to do a "You Are My Sunshine" theme so here is what I found for invites:

For starters, I have the best husband in the world.  He took off a few days to get the house ready.  I seriously love his hard working, caring, and thoughtful nature.  Thank you daddy!

We did a traditional birthday with family.  Have I mentioned how much I love our family?  We are so blessed!  Both Grandparents, Great Grandparents and even one Uncle made it.  Plus we had our Pastor and his wife and an additional cousin.  It was perfect!

Here he is cleaning up Grandma & Grandpa's gift:).  

I bought this neat frame that has wires with clips on it to hang pictures.  Since I took monthly pictures of her I was able to recap her first year in pictures.  

I ordered a poster for her with more specifics but you couldn't see it in the pictures because of the glare so here is an up close shot

Hannah woke up early and prompt as usual from her nap!  Without any guests present, we were able to  spend a few moments alone and play with our little sunshine before her party!

Then the beloved Grandparents came with Great Grandma and Grandpa.

We decided to first start off with her dedication.  1 is a bit old to dedicate but it's better late than never!  She was quite "busy".  It's such an honor to have Pastor Jerry dedicate her to the Lord.  Not only did he dedicate me as a baby, married Jared and I, and dedicated Hudson now he is able to dedicate our Hannah.  It means a lot to our family that he has been a constant in our families lives.  He is an amazing pastor full of wisdom, encouragement, and support.

Then we opened presents!  Hudson gave her the first gift, her owl pillow pet.  

She was blessed with such kind and thoughtful gifts.  

We saved Grandma & Grandpa's gift for last.  So we headed out to the deck...

They bought her a cute little play house!  The kids had fun but then it was cake time!

Because of a "cake mix-up" we had two smash cakes.  Raylee and Hudson shared the other cake.

And that's why it's called a smash cake:).

It was a perfect party full of loved ones.  Thank you for celebrating our sunshine with us!

We love your energy, spunk and sass.  But most of all we love your smiles because they melt our hearts!
