Fire Station Fun

Another Silas adventure!  Laura's cousin, Rob, works in SCFD 9 and offered to let Silas and Hudson tour it.  It was so fun because it was the fire station on Bigelow Gulch and it was low key so we had the place to ourselves!

The boys were in awe!

Silas was eager to climb right in!

Ok, seriously, love this kid!

After watching Silas having so much fun, Hudson started to want to climb in more and more.  One truck was open and I couldn't keep him out of it!

Rob even let the boys try on the fire jackets…but alas my son wouldn't get out of the truck:).  Silas looked like a stud though!

Then he spoiled them with stickers, cards, and coloring books.

Thank you Rob!  Hudson said his favorite part was seeing Fireman Rob:).
These boys are truly best buds!  What a fun time they had.  We then finished up our play date at McDonalds for a little fun.  We were able to get a group pic of both mamma's thanks to Mimi (Silas' grandma).

Love you guys!  Can't wait to see you again at Christmas or hopefully sooner!!!!!

New Haircut

I wanted to buzz Hudson's hair for a while because it grows so fast and then I wouldn't have to cut it every 4 weeks.  So on our last hair cut we did it!  He did pretty good but I had to hold his head and we were able to only buzz the sides.  He looks so grown up, sniff sniff.
We were then telling Yvonne about our baseball we got and I pulled out the ball.  Big mistake!  He was so upset we still had it!!! He wanted me to mail it back to the young man who gave it to him.

This is the look he gave me after I took out his baseball (that I was supposed to give back to the young man).  He was not happy with me but still so stinkin' cute!

Indians Baseball Game!

My dad scored some sweet tickets at work for an Indian's game.  Since Hudson has been really into t-ball lately, we thought he would really enjoy the game!
Here is my cool dude in the car on the way to the game:).

Can I just say their parking rocks!!!  It was so nice to park up close:).

Our view

Hudson's favorite part was Otto:).

He wanted to throw some baseballs with daddy!
Daddy threw a perfect pitch and Hudson didn't do too bad either.

A junior aged boy in front of us caught a foul ball and gave it to Hudson.  Hudson kept wanting to give it back.  He said the Indian's needed it.  It was quite the ordeal.  What a nut I have!

I just had to post my collage too!  I love my iPhone apps:).

It was a great game and the Indians actually won!  Hudson kept us busy with Otto runs, ice cream, and so on:).  We loved the family evening!  Thanks Pops!

Silas Time!

We were blessed to have our friends Byron, Laura and Silas come into town this summer!
We were able to have a family dinner with all family members before Byron had to fly back to Texas for work:(.  I guess not everyone has summers off.

Laura and I just click and so do our boys.  I love watching them play and interact with one anther.  When she comes into town I'm "on call" for play dates and we love it!  We end up crashing her in-laws most of the time so I feel like I have more extended family:).

Here's the boys playing a train game

Then it was backyard fun time!

Hudson was very concerned about Silas' owie

This might not look like much, but Hudson still won't ride on his Harley Davidson Power Wheels.  So the fact that he sat on a Power Wheels was a big deal!

Then cousin Matt came over and had some slip-n-slide fun with the boys.  He is so good with these 2!

I love how the Power Wheels end up on the slip-n-slide:).
Then Silas hopped onto Huddy's Harley and showed him how it works!

I will say Hudson got a bit nervous when Papa got out Silas' big four wheeler and Silas decided to smash into Hudson on the Cars Power Wheels.  What boys we have.  Silas is so fun to watch because he will go up and down curbs, ram things, and he is just all smiles.  I love that boy!

What fun these 2 have!
They even share their excitement for potty accomplishments #1 and #2!
Thank you Henry's for the hospitality!

A Priest Lake Weekend

We had the pleasure of the having the lake place to ourself for one weekend!  I had these great visions of inviting lots of friends up but as I start to get further along in my pregnancy, the normally fun things are becoming exhausting:(.  Sad day!  So we opted to have a family weekend!
One thing I did not know about Jared is what a fun "sand" daddy he is.  Hudson and Jared played hours in the sand making "puddles", tracks, and lots of sand forts.

Then there is always time for t-ball!

We did invite Jared's cousin Jill up to the lake.  She brought her adorable little girl Skylar who is a water bug.  Hudson needed to see kids swimming because he's still a big hesitant of the water.  Skylar jumped in multiple times with her "puddle jumper" (seriously best life jacket ever and Coast Guard approved).  Hudson opted to show off his mad water gun skills rather than swimming:).

The last day we went to our favorite brunch at Cavanaugh Bay.  We LOVE their brunch:).  It was a rainy day but we sure enjoyed some quality family time!

This little boy was in fruit/huckleberry heaven!
It was a great weekend as a family of 3.  We won't have many more moments with just our boy:).
