34 Never Looked So Good

I turned 34 this past week.

I couldn't be happier with where life is right at this very moment.  

Jared ask what I wanted for my birthday present and I said I already had it, meaning these 3.

Jared and I do plan to celebrate at Clinks when my parents are back in town.

It's nice to have a date with my man.  Give me some Jared time and a good meal and I"m a happy camper.

Last spring I went to the IF Gathering at church.  The IF Gathering is a group of women who led a video conference nation wide to equip, gather, and unleash women to live out their purpose through Christ.  It was an amazing experience.  Well they have these monthly emails all the IF Table where you get together with a few ladies and talk about real, deep topics.  Since spring we've been meaning to get together...and it didn't happen until my birthday.  It just happen to be the night that worked for everyone.  SO off we gathered...into the minivan!  Have I mentioned how much I love my van?!

Yes I was driving:).  We all agreed to check out the new place downtown by the river called Kendall Yards.  Brittany had been there before and said you kind of park and walk around.  So we did.  Mind you it was VERY cold!  Tiffany wanted to check out this restaurant called The Wandering Table.  She had worked with the chefs and a few other people there.  Of course I didn't set reservations so we couldn't get in until 8.  So we headed across the street for some wine tasting...my favorite!  We all got different wines, expect for preggo Tiffany.  We enjoyed chatting, drinking a few sips of wine and a few new appetizers.  

Then it was time to head to the restaurant.  The point of the restaurant is to try new foods and and talk about them.  Well we did that!  They have a Chefs choice where they bring you 7-9 tasters to try.  I wanted to do that but Tiffany and the gang decided she would order for us.  We discussed, she ordered.  It was fabulous!  No major decisions from any of us!  We all picked one thing we wanted to try and Tiff picked the rest.  We were brought a few things at once and we all took sample and passed it around.  We talked about how it tasted, how we loved it, or for me the beet salad, how I'd pass on that next time:).  

The best part was it was quality time with my best friends.  Tiffany, Sarah, Ariane, Nicole are truly the best friends I could ever ask for.  I just met Brittany but she's wonderful as well!  Nicole even drove up from Pullman just for me:).  They understand me and love me for me:).  Not only that but we are open and honest and Christ driven.  It's amazing the relationship you can have with friends when Christs love is the center of it all.  We talked and talked.  It was the best time I think I've ever had with my girls.  Maybe I'm just getting older but the quality time was the best!

Then on the way home, we dropped Ariane off and Sarah didn't want to go home, lol.  So we headed to the local dive joint and had a drink.  Gotta love some T&Js Pour House fun!  Jesse, Tiffany's husband, joined us and took our picture.  

Thanks ladies for the best birthday every! 

I can't wait to celebrate another year.
